This project is
based in a designated Regional Center thereby enabling foreign investors each
investing $500,000 USD in this structured investment program to file application
for Green Cards. The investment monies will be applied to development of Maple
Street Retirement Community in downtown Bellingham.
The development and
operation of the Retirement Communities will be financed by a combination of
Immigrant Investor funds and commercial lenders. This offering is limited to 32
immigrant investors who, with CanAm Global Immigration Services, will own the operating entity (CanAm Global Immigration Services)
that will own 50% interest in the development project.
A designated board will oversee the day-to-day
operations of the venture. Investors will assist in corporate guidance but are
not required to take residence in Whatcom County.
120 months from closing the Investor
may withdraw from the project and CanAm Global Immigration Services will payout his/her capital account
of $500,000 plus an estimated 1% return per annum. Other exit options or
opportunities may arise, such as sale of the project as a going concern to a
national assisted living operator. Please note, however, that U.S. Immigration
Regulations require that an Immigrant Investor’s capital remains at risk until a
final and permanent green card has been granted.
